I’m a Catholic father of 6 children, with my 1 wife. I enjoy my family, learning and fishing. I have learned many things just from having a big family but most importantly I learned that “it’s not all about me.” After making a mess of our finances I am spending this year studying and writing about finance and entrepreneurship.
Ma Goose
I am a stay at home/homeschooling mom of our 6 wonderful blessings. Life is far from perfect here but we love our brood and all the fun and excitement that comes with it and wouldn’t change any of it. I love gardening, freezer cooking, reading when I can and playing and exploring with our big brood.
Why we write.
- While we have nothing negative to say about small families, we believe that big families are a big blessing. They need a voice (or lots of them)
- We have heard and seen people talk about big families as if they were a burden on the environment and a waste of precious resources.
- We have not always lived with our finances in mind, even before we had any children.
This blog is to share the wonder of our family, discuss our place in the environment and learn about finance.
